Lord Huron

Further to this previous post, I have to admit that the new Lord Huron album is receiving “heavy rotation” at Rawling HQ. It’s a time machine taking me back to the period just before I was born, a period that through it’s ephemera I heavily romanticised in my youth. The cars, the films, the books, the art – everything was better, or so it seemed, and from an even more distant remove, I am even more convinced that I was right. Somewhere along the way, we took a turn off the wild highway and entered a dead-end cul-de-sac from which there seems no escape, except perhaps in our dreams.
