Further to this earlier post, where I demonstrated my audacity in thinking I can do a better job of designing someone else’s book cover, here’s my mock-up for Martin Shaw’s new book: Wolferland. For a start off, that’s a great title. I also like the premise of trying to reverse the ancient cure for a werewolf bite but going into the wilderness for 101 days in order to become more feral, more wild. Driven by a belief that he needed to do this in order to be psychically empowered for the fucked-up times we live in, it more than qualifies as a “mad enough” project, the kind I can’t help but admire.
