Boston Teran: God Is A Bullet

I first read this novel in a single sitting, during a long-haul flight to San Francisco in 2000. Arguably not the best preparation for a visit to Californa, as it depicts the state as a darkside Disneyland full of nihilistic Satanists hell-bent on murder and mayhem. I re-read it again recently, and it’s still one of the best ‘crime’ novels and I’ve ever come across and, for all the extremes it goes to, not entirely impluasible. The drawing comes from the Streetmeat 25th Anniversary Edition I worked on last year, and the rest is the usual Photoshop electrickery. See more on my Illustration page.
