The Bumbarrel

A new drawing, of a long-tailed tit, traditionally known in parts of East Anglia as a ‘bumbarrel’, which refers to the shape of their nests. They’re my wife’s favourite bird and we often get them scrapping with the squirrels for rights to the bird feeders.
