I’m often asked why I don’t do prints of my paintings. Aside from the obvious cost of getting them done – which I can’t afford right now – there’s a part of me that quite likes having the painting as a ‘stand alone’, a unique representation of something that matters to me and a reaction perhaps to the tendency for mass production that bleeds the meaning out of everything.
